How Many Cortisone Injections?

A cortisone injection delives powerful anti-inflammatory medication directly to a location of inflammation. Commonly used for treatment of bursitis, tendonitis, and arthritis, cortisone injections should only be given a limited number of times in one location. Exactly how many times a cortisone injection may be given depends on several factors.
