Tendonitis

Tendonitis is a common condition that can cause significant pain. Tendonitis occurs when there is inflammation of tendons-the point where a muscle attaches to the bone.

Tendonitis treatment may consist of resting the painful area, anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, cortisone injections, and ultrasound. There are also alternative tendonitis treatments such as acupuncture that can be helpful.
