Stretching the Foot

Plantar fasciitis is a common foot problem. Usually causing pain underneath the heel, especially in the morning when the tissues are stiff, plantar fasciitis can cause pain while walking.
Treatment for plantar fasciitis is best accomplished with some simple measures including icing and stretching. A recent study shows the benefit of stretching exercises to relieve heel pain associated with irritation of the plantar fascia.
