Tuesday August 19, 2003
Here you can find information on common causes of low back pain, how to find relief, and what can be done to treat low back pain.

A ruptured disc is a common low back problem that can cause spinal nerve root irritation. Treatment of back pain caused by a ruptured disc may include physical therapy, steroid injections, anti-inflammatory medications, or surgery.

Sciatica is caused by irritation around the sciatic nerve. This causes pain around the hip and thigh region. Treatments for sciatica aim to reduce the irritation of the nerve.
