Stress Fracture

A stress fracture is a common overuse sports-related injury. Treatment of a stress fracture is important to avoid complications. With proper treatment, full recovery from a stress fracture can be expected.
Stress fractures are just one type of overuse injury. Other common overuse injuries that are seen in athletes include:
- Impingement syndrome (shoulder bursitis)
- Runner's knee (chondromalacia)
