Glucosamine Effectiveness Challenged

Glucosamine is a popular nutritional supplement used to treat osteoarthritis pain. The effectiveness of glucosamine has been questioned for many years and a study from a University of British Columbia researcher is renewing the controversy. The study results conclude there is no long-term benefit associated with taking glucosamine. Even so, some of the study participants chose to continue taking the supplement.
