Bone Health of Middle-Aged Adults

A recent British study that followed individuals from birth into adulthood found that both adolescence and adulthood are important times in determining ones bone health. Once thought to peak in young adulthood, and then uneventfully decline through life, this study found that middle-aged adults can alter their bone health significantly. Factors such as weight control and smoking were among the most important determinants of bone health.
