How To Fix a Hip Fracture

Tuesday May 2, 2006
Hip fractures are common injuries, especially as people get older. As peole age, bones become thinner and more brittle (osteoporosis), making these bones more susceptible to breaking, or fracture.

Hip fracture treatment depends on several factors including where the bone is broken. Depending on the location of the fracture may determine if the bones can be repaired, or if a partial hip replacement should be performed.
