When the knee 'gives out'

Ligaments are the structures that hold you knee joint together. People who injure their ligaments may have knees that are unstable. This instability may cause a sensation of the knee "giving out."

Depending on the type of injury and the symptoms experienced by the patient, patients may require treatment to address their knee instability.
