Surgical Options for Dislocating Kneecap

Kneecap dislocations are painful injuries.  Even more concerning, is that once a dislocation has occurred, it is more likely to occur again in the future.  Kneecap dislocations can lead to serious complications, such as knee arthritis.  Repeat dislocations are thought to increase the risk of cartilage damage, and therefore the risk of developing arthritis.
