Question: I saw a report on t.v./read in a magazine about ______. Where can I learn more?

Answer: Most articles you may have seen in print journalism should be accessible on the Internet. Go directly to the Newspaper or magazine web site.

If you saw a program profiled on a television show, try searching the program web site. I do not watch these shows myself, thus I am usually unable to determine which program you may have been watching.

Also, keep in mind that while these may be newsworthy or interesting stories, the reports are not necessarily the best medical information. Often these shows profile controversial or untested procedures, as well as procedures still in clinical trials.
