Tibial Plateau Fracture

This is another x-ray view of the tibial plateau fracture. There was significant swelling around the knee and tibia, and therefore it was deceded to delay surgery until the swelling improved. The leg was splinted, elevated, and iced. Four days after the injury, the swelling was much improved, and she was ready for surgery.
