Information About OsteonecrosisOsteonecrosis, also called avascular necrosis, is a condition that caused by lack of blood supply to the bone. The loss of blood supply in osteonecrosis decreases the availability of oxygen and nutrients to the bone cells leading to their death.

Hip osteonecrosis is a problem that can cause pain of the hip joint. Hip osteonecrosis, also called avascular necrosis, causes a disruption in the blood supply to the bone around the hip.
